Life has been pretty crazy around here as Andrew and I have been checking off the list of things to do to get ready to meet our baby girl and I have been busy squeezing in sessions before going on maternity leave. My poor blog has been a bit neglected as a result, but I did want to share a few frames from a recent session. This family of four actually welcomed their baby into the world just 6 weeks ago, so I loved having the opportunity to capture the sweetness of this newborn boy along with the energy and excitement of his older brother.

I have been looking forward to this session since the fall when Stephanie originally contacted me about doing some spring photos of her growing family, so you can imagine how excited I was when the day of our session finally arrived! I was thrilled to get to capture Stephanie and her 3 year old daughter Ava interacting together (along with some special photos of just Ava) in this exciting season! We had a wonderful time just playing away underneath a canopy of trees on a gorgeous spring afternoon. Enjoy a glimpse:

There are many things I love about living in the South, but one thing that stands out is the sunny 65 degree days that we are occasionally treated with in the winter months. It was one of those perfect days that we met up with Blythe and Gary for their engagement session. And while not much makes my heart happier than shooting during warm spring days, the highlight of the session for me was getting to document the love that these two have for each other. Hi Everyone! Now that the weather is warming up (hurray!), I’ve been receiving numerous inquiries for spring sessions, and my calendar is filling up quickly! In order to make sure you get your session on my schedule, I’m providing a $50 incentive discount if I have received your booking confirmation by March 15th. For more info. on my 2010 session pricing, check out the “Packages” section under the Information tab above. Meanwhile, a few things to take note of:
* April 24th is the last day I am accepting sessions before I go on maternity leave for 2 months (that Sat. is already booked).
* As always, my weekday availability is very flexible, but weekends do fill up quickly. At this point, the following Saturdays are still available:
3/13, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/17
If Spring/Easter/Mother’s Day photos are in your plans for this spring, let’s go ahead and get them on the schedule! This is absolutely my favorite time of year for photos–I can’t wait to work with you!

I met up with Sarah and Ross last weekend for their engagement photos. We started in the Arts District, exploring the alleys and textures that the area had to offer and ended at Ross’s Landing (appropriate name, eh?) where they went on their first date. After they get married this summer, they will be moving to another state while Ross is in grad school, so it was great to be able to capture them in the city where they met and fell in love. They were so sweet together, and I wish them tons of happiness! Enjoy a glimpse into our time together:
